From 2001. - 2006. was head of The Public Library in Jagodina –The main library of Pomoravlje region. In the firs half of 2002., with the support of Found for an Open Society realised the project “ Tea-party, Thursday at 6”, series of platforms, meetings and talks with various subjects and social groups, all with one goal – the promotion of library as centre of local community. The project results successfully represented at The Librarians meeting of Central and Eastern Europe held in Lithuania in June 2002.
From August 2002.till the end of 2003. was a member of local government in Department of culture. As one of “key-players” of PULMAN project in our country, took part in The Librarians meeting of Western Balkans in Ljubljana within mentoring programme, where represented good results of his library practise.
He was editor of the Public Library web site (www.jabooka.org.rs) which was, in fellow librarian’s opinion, the best library site in Serbia in 2003. In 2003. within the project “Gaming house-dreaming house” supported by USAID introduced the world of internet and educational computer programme in the Children department of the Public Library. Also, in 2004. with support of the USA government, created network of 22 computers with ADSL internet connection.
Regularly exposes in domestic and international professional meetings and publishes his works in professional periodicals. His fields of interest are lobbying, management, marketing in public services, children and youth programme, library associations, internet, fundraising, standards in librarianship. From June 2004. he is a member of the Governing board of Serbian Library Association.
